Greetings.

You got it...I'm mad as hell and I'm not gonna take it anymore.

I'm talking about all the art thieving, stealing, copying, selling and all around underhanded, illegal behavior that has become a plague in art communities like Deviant Art. IT DISGUSTS ME.
Therefore, I am appointing myself as a sort of DA guardian, to try and help curb this unwanted and pathetic trend. At least weekly, on a regular basis, I will be scanning through DA looking for ripped, copied, and stolen works of art. I will be reporting indivduals I find having committed such offenses to the DA staff(as I always have on my regular account), but I will also be naming names. I was thrilled when DA finally realized that public humiliation is an excellent deterrent to this sort of behavior, and I plan to use it to the fullest extent of my ability.

I will also be using this account to write critiques. By critiques, I do not mean positive ones. This site is inundated with people claiming that their photography is art, when it amounts to nothing more than porn. I do not mean artistic nudes. I do not mean fetish photography. I mean people who make no effort at making an artistic statement...they are just taking pictures(usually crappy quality ones) of other people having sex. This is pornography.

I will also be carefully placing unflattering critiques where necessary in other places, where usually the author of such statements will usually get "flamed". Flame away people. That's what I made this account for. I don't care WHO the deviant is, or how popular. I am fed up with these children flaming mercilessly someone who gave a "popular artist" an honest critique. IF YOU DON'T WANT A CRIT, DON'T CLICK THE CRITIQUE WELCOME BUTTON, IDIOT.

Some of you might be thinking I have SOME audacity to appoint myself as some sort of DA cop. I DO have the audacity to do it because these problems are rampant through DA. I have the time to skulk around in the bowels of DA hell, so why not? I already have reported plenty of people since I came on DA. Why not make it a regular occurrence. My only regret is that I am not a copyright attorney who could make official notifications of infringement.

Bottom line...if we as artists don't stand up and defend ourselves and our fellow creative people, we will continue to be used and victimized. I for one have had enough.
